Becoming a parent can be overwhelming. You love your child, but you miss yourself. You want to make the most of your time with your child but it feels daunting. Your relationships have changed, not only with your partner, friends, and family, but with yourself. Many mothers feel like they go through an identity crisis after having a child. It is normal to have increased anxiety, stress, and negative thoughts. Postpartum and perinatal depression and anxiety is common. Hormonal changes, social support, and expectations are just a few of the many things that most new parents struggle with.
Whether it is your first child or your fifth, whether you are anxious about becoming a parent or are struggling with toddler tantrums and not enough time for yourself, I am here to support you. You are not alone. I am a mother of two young children and I get it. I want to work with you and help you find the tools that will help you feel more like yourself again.
At my practice, I specialize in helping new and expecting mothers navigate the emotional ups and downs of motherhood. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just need a space to breathe and be heard, I’m here to support you. Together, we’ll work toward healing, clarity, and confidence—so you can feel more grounded in yourself and your role as a parent.
